Good Morning folks, 1st Timeat this forum. Great Service to have ...thank you all who respond and advise I have a 2012 Toyota Corolla. 4 Cyl.54000 miles with absolutely no previous start or run issues Yesterday my daughter started and moved the vehicle to make way for her exit This morning the car would not start .tried first with the remote then with key it did turn over slightly but would not start after a few minutes another attempt was mad this time pumping the gas slightly and it did start but idle ran extrmely rough almost like it had no power it ran better and better the longer it ran finally after a few minutes the idle seemed to increase up to normal i then shut motor waited a min and the restarted with no gas ( never use gas to start ) and it ran like normal hope this was enough....any thoughts ?

? Is this to say it gave you a hard time and now running normally? Get codes read if so. It seems maybe something was left on and battery way too low but improved when it did run a while. BTW -pumping gas pedal does nothing. At a minimum you need to have a charged/good battery not discharged too much and then you can test things for a no start condition. Age and miles I'm going with something got left on electrically and still on hidden like a reading light, most do not shut off with the cars and yes those tiny bulbs can take down a battery, T
