check engine light

i have toyota carolla 1998 about 2 months ago i got check engine sign is coming i check fom auto zone they say one of cylender messing firing not exact cylender missing firing some time one cylender missing fire sometime another cylender missing fire and car engine is viberating can any body help me

There are some possibilities that I can think of with out the proper testing....the coil / the PCM or the timing belt...even leaking valve stem seals could cause such codes. But it really needs to be tested to locate the problem.
