I have a 1994 Chevy Suburban 1500 4wd 5.7 V8 4L60E Transmission it has 160120 miles, The service engine soon light came on when driving it. So I checked the code and it pointed to the knock sensor DTC 43. I replaced the knock sensor and disconnected the battery to clear the ECM. The service light came right back on. Same code. Next I replaced the spark controller, Same problem. light came back on after clearing the code. I have even gone as far as to replace the temp sensor all the spark plugs cap rotor ect, no luck. The truck starts right up. When driving it will lose power and has just die on me no matter the speed I am traveling or it will revert to limp mode until I disconnect the battery and clear the code then it will run ok again. Whats going on?

You may have an issue with the wiring, possibly shorted to ground.

Here is the flow chart for that code
