Brake Switch Faulty? Sign In

Hi forum,
I have a 1996 Cadillac Concours 32 valve Northstar that has an idiot light that keeps telling me that the car needs brake fluid,. I check, it does not-filled to the rim. Then it proceeds to tell me it's the switch. Where exactly would I find the switch in this car? I have the Haynes GM manual, but it doesn't tell me where to locate.
Thanks in advance,
Gino

The brake warning light can come on for 3 different reasons

  1. low brake fluid
  2. Parking brake not fully released
  3. hydraulic problem in the brake system

How much brake fluid is in the master cylinder reservoir?
