unknown electrical sensor or switch fell down while driving.

While driving my 03 Dodge Durango 5.9L V8, I felt something hit my feet when I pulled over I noticed it seems like some sort of sensor. I am not sure exactly what it is or where it was connected only that it was under the the driver side dash. I have included a picture to see if anyone can identify this part and instruct me how to reattach it.
