trouble shooting power windows Sign In

Here's the details:
1996 Acura RL v6
approx. 180,000 miles.

My driver's side front window stopped working recently (all other windows working fine). A friend and I took the door panel off and pulled out the regulator and motor assembly... determined the regulator was bad because all the other windows worked fine, but my friend also took apart the master power window switch (from the driver's door) just to make sure things were ok with the switch. We got a new regulator unit and tested it, worked fine... but then (after a little bit more fiddling with the switch) all the windows stopped working completely (from master and slave switches). Logically, I assume that the master switch for the windows is busted, but is there anything else that could cause this issue besides the switch? I replaced the fuse in the power window slot, but still no windows work anywhere in car. But because none of the windows can operate from their own slave-switch on their door either... I am wondering if this still a switch problem or something else. All help is appreciated!

Get a simple test light and see where there is power when it should have power and don't forget ground. Does new fuse light up a test light when windows should be enabled?
