tail light wiring

2008 Nissan Altima 2.5SL My driver side tail light was ripped from the vehicle due to accident. The wiring that goes into the bulb plugs has been ripped from the plugs. I cannot find a harness plug to the light on the vehicle. Is there one, and how far back is it. Or, do I have to go all the way to the fuse box. Thank you in advance

There is no local plug. You have to get a new pigtail that fits the light and splice the wires. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

You ask for a pigtail for that light. Try the local auto parts stores or the dealer.
