I'll give a shot at this anyway. You got the starter to turn the engine but no fuel?? Key should be on and in "run" position and if a standard shift make sure it's in neutral and wheels blocked. The lack of fuel could be a few things but the first test if the vehicle is where it's somewhat quiet is to hear the fuel pump buzz and build up pressure and then go silent. Without fancy testing that is pretty good by itself.
