I have a 2005 ford sport trac that the speed control will not always engage, most times when I press the set button the light on dash flashes on but goes back off, if I try long enough sometimes it will engage and stay on untill you have to stop then it starts all over again. HELP!!

Sounds like a bad transducer module but it would have to be troubleshooted to confirm.
