If they are installing OE or higher quality replacement parts, plus the technician’s time; I don’t think it’s all that far out of line at all. 6 Spark Plugs @ 6.15 each Ignition wire Set 84.25 1.5 hours @ 80.00 Equals $259. Plus whatever applicable tax(s); here in Ontario its 6% GST and 8% PST. It doesn’t take long to hit 300 bucks. Explaining how to change spark plugs is like explaining how to tie your shoes; sure it’s easy after you’ve done it a few thousand times but that first time can be quite a challenge. Dan.
