I installed an aftermarket cd player and now my dash lights do not work and the interior light and cd player only work when the headlights are on. There are ways to power aftermarket items and fuse them at the fuse box. Sounds like you just tapped into whatever was there and now this?? Maybe the power source for the system and the system’s lighting got mixed? The lighting system’s fuse could not handle the requirements of the running system and has blown the fuse? Dan.
