power window Sign In

have a mitsubishi 01 eclipse 45000/2.4L
Left window will not close.have to wait several minutes and close again (it close a few inches at the time and this process have to be repeated several times until the window are fully closed). It opens fine.
What can be the most likely problem. thanks

Re: power window Sign In

hi

i would say the motor is faulty....have had several (all tho not mitsu's) do the same thing...its always the motor when it acts like that.
my friends pontiac grand am just did this same thing about 2 months ago, replaced the motor,fixed.....
the motors do have circuit breakers in them than can inhibit them from going up...will go down fine.

just a thought

post back results.

It may have also been run off the tracks. I had a car with the same problem. opens fine, but goes up slowly. I found out the guys that did the window tint didnt put it back on the tracks properly. Pull the door skin off and make sure it's on the tracks.
