power window 2005 impala

the Drivers window wont go up or down its not off track is there a master control box on these like the older ones that sent power out to all the windows or is there just the switch and window motor to check I CAN DISCONNECT the power and check the switch and motor for continuity I just don't know if theirs a control box I have to check too I know in the 80 and early 90 GM used one

Pull the door panel and test for switching power and ground at the motor itself.
