The window problem is not a fuse. You'll have to remove the door panel to determine if the motor is receiving power and ground.

I don't know what you are measuring but there is no pink wire going to any of the motors. There is a dk blue and a brown and they reverse polarity for going up or down so what is ground going up will be power coming down and visa-versa.

i aplogize for not explain very well.
check this image please.

if i connect power for the pink wire, all window will work fine and even the AC start working.
i try to find the terminal for the pink wire under the dash, where is the fuse board but i couldnt locate it.
ithink maybe the terminal get damage or get loose.

The pink wire is powered by the circuit breaker that powers all of the window switches so if you're only losing one leg of it, then wire is open circuit somewhere. Start tracing it back and see where the power stops.

Re: please help '83 caprice window ac not working Sign In

thank you bro for your help.
i trace it i found the problem area. its in the fuse box when i swithc the battery on by the key.
theres no power getting to AC fuse imake the jumber like the image. from the pink wire to no. 2 in the fuse its work fine the windows and the AC for 2 days. now thers no power com from the pink wire even i start the engine nothing. if there any short the fuse suppose to get damage but all fuse still good. thers any known solution for this problem. and what about the big relay at fuse box its in the top of it and its writine on it 5/10 minute its may be related to the problem because its seem its never been changed before.

Just some ideas: Make a jumper wire with a fuse in it for the rating of the dead wire. It sounds like no continuity not a short which should blow the fuse as that's what they are for.

Look where all the wires to things go thru firewall. Have found those to be the problem - not often but your car is getting old and that's fine but you get to know what to expect with age. My own several are old too,
