I have a '91 Honda Accord it has 250+ miles on it. I just got it out of the shop a few months ago. I had a water pump and a (not sure if this spelled right) differential put on it. Now my car heats up more then usual and it blows the tail and running light continually. I have only replaced the fuses but since they are blowing with in 2 seconds this has become costly. What would cause this problem and can I fix it myself? I work nights now so you see how i must get this problem fixed.

Yeah, if your solution for a blown fuse is to keep replacing the fuse, then you will run out of money eventually. The fuse blows because there is an overload in the circuit somewhere and if you don't find the problem and repair it, the fuse will continue to blow.

Thanks for your response, but I'm a woman and don't know were to start looking to find the overload.

Then I suggest you bring it to a reputable shop because you won't be able to repair it yourself.

I'm not sure of your skill level or tools you have available to you, so depending on the answers would determine how far we could take this....

One basic long shot you could take you be to remove all the bulbs from the back, put a good fuse in and turn the lights one. If it doesn't blow, start replacing them 1 at a time. If you put one in and the fuse blows try replacing the bulb.....

This is a total long shot & I doubt it's the problem but you never know..... Personally I think you have a short somewhere....

Thanks for your response i have tried this and it want work, i think it has something to do with what they did to my car. Is it possible that he could have put the wires of the differential wrong or not grounded it right?
