Any trouble codes stored in the engine computer? If so, write down the numbers.

Are you missing spark on both banks of the engine?

Do you have a NOID light that you can plug into an injector connector to see if you have injector pulse while cranking the engine? Just want to see if your missing spark along with injector pulse.

If you have injector pulse, then you would test for power, using a volt meter, going to the coils while back probed at the pink wires at the coil harnesses while cranking the engine.

If you don't have injector pulse and your able to communicate with the engine computer using your code reader, your going to need to find someone with a scope or get hold of a lab scope, at least two channels, to check the crank and cam sensor signals at the engine computer harness connector. You need a scope or graphing meter to see how the signals waveforms look. A volt meter's sampling rate is too slow to see the signals during cranking and you also can't see if they are synchronized or not.

That would definitely do it. How did you find the bad connection? Was the wiring or connector damaged?
