It is 2wd with the tbi (throttle body injection) it has the 4.3 v6. I changed the head gaskets and all the gaskets that go to the heads and intake. The problem I am here for though is this, when I was putting the alternator back on and forget to take off the battery. The wire that bolts to the back of the alternator touched the intake manifold.and sparked and amoked.and it.got super hot. Now there is no power to anything when I turn the key. Pull each wire looking for one that stretches. DO NOT use regular wire to replace it.
