Sounds like a bad headlamp switch. It triggers through ground and there are different ground paths for "flash to pass" and regular running lights. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Well, if you have no electrical knowledge yourself, then you drive it to a competent repair shop for testing.

The circuit will need to be diagnosed first before you'll know what wrong with it. -------------------------------------------------------- Your only as good as your tools!

The car needs to be diagnosed properly. You said you knew how to do that. If not, then you need to take it to a shop.

The same thing I thought the first time. It needs to be diagnosed properly. If you can't do it, pay someone.
