i must have accidentally kicked the 5.5 A c/brkr fuse our of the fuse box while driving...i saw it laying on the floor and my windshield wipers aren't activating. i might be a n00b...cause i never seen a fuse like this... can't see if the fuse is bad...its in a metal casing with two connectors to it *like a 9V battery*.. and ways.. i know where it goes.. but have no idea how it fits on there... the fuse box has what appear to be 2 metal prods ..but i can't figure out how theses two things hook up... any help is appreciated

Hmmm?? What may have happened is the prongs stayed in the fuse panel and broke off the metal breaker housing. The connections on a 9v regular household battery really aren't found anywhere I know of in a car?? The two, spade type terminals should look like another fuse, breaker type or not if I'm thinking right on this car.

If they broke right off that would explain it. You should be able to see something with the broken one and what's left in the fuse box. If this sounds like what could have happened then the broken off spades should just pull out with needle nose pliers or pry out depending on how this might have broken.

I suggest disconnecting the neg cable from the battery while poking around and trying to fix this to avoid unwanted shorting of a tool or broken parts while checking this out.

I could be all wet with this guess but you said you kicked it and the breaker fell out so it's a possibility,

T
