03 Jeep G.C. 4.7 HO keeps blowing injector fuse on hard acceleration. New starter and alternator were installed before this started acting up along with rear upper control arm and ball joint. It will put up code 1389 which I will clear and put new fuse in and it starts when I put new 15 amp fuse in and it will run fine as long as I don't accelerate hard. Thank you all for your time. Phil

Specifically, which fuse is blowing? Fuse number? This appears to be a lot more than simply the injectors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

The code P1389 is monitoring the output of the ASD relay after the specified fuse. That branch of the circuit feeds the power supply to the injectors so you likely have a bad injector or a problem with the wiring going to them. The first step may be to test the resistance of all the injectors. The one with the lowest resistance would be the bad one.
