ignition will not turn over

when i turn the ignition switch nothing happens. i have good lights. i have had the battery and alternator checked and they are good.

We would need year, make, model and engine size to tell you anything.
Do the dash warning lights stay bright as you are attempting to start it?
Is it making any sounds?
