I have a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse GT V6 3.0L with 155,252 miles on it and im having horn issues. Ive checked the fuse, relay, and horn itself. Fuse is fine but when i lock the car the horn beeps but when i press the steering wheel the relay just clicks, no horn.i replaced the horn with a horn from autozone but still same issue. also im confused on why eclipses have 2 components to the horn system (the horn itself and the megaphone looking thing). that maybe all cars, i have no idea. im thinking about replacing something in the steering wheel or coulmn but im afraid to mess with it because of the airbag. i dont want it to prematurely deploy, if thats possible. ty in advance for any help/ideas.

Guess: If you hear the relay click then the switching at steering wheel is probably ok. Test that power gets to the right horn with a test light. Generally the mounting of the horn is its ground and with a test light make sure that is in fact ground,
