Re: fuel pump wiring Sign In

You need to connect the fuel pump positive to the grey wire. The fuel pump negative to the black. The purple and the black/white wire are for the fuel level sender.

Re: fuel pump wiring Sign In

I found out that the new fuel pump was bad. Went and got the new one and hooked it up. Now I have power going to the pump but still will not come on. If I connect straight to the batt it comes on. When I put my test light on the graywire and turn the switch the on the light comes on my test light.

It only powers for 2 seconds when the key is turned on.
