1999 ford f250 superduty, 5.4liter v8. 150k miles. I have replaced both front and back passenger side turn signal bulbs. I replaced Front passenger side turn signal socket. Still no fix. I get no turn signal light up on dash, and it clicks rapidly like it normally does when you have a bulb burned out. The rear light flashes rapidly. Front turn signal light only lights up when i have the brake/headlights turned on. THE ONLY TIME IT DOES WORK IS IF I GENTLY HOLD THE TURN SIGNAL ARM ON THE STEARING COLUMN AS IF I WAS MAKING A LANE CHANGE ON THE FREEWAY. But if i complete the turn signal motion fully, it goes back to being faulty....could it be relay or the actual switch in the stearing column, thank you for suggestions.

That sounds like a bad turn signal switch but of course it should be tested first. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

He just needs a test light to see if power is coming out of the switch on the wire for that light when the turn signals are turned on.
