i have a 99 taurus se 24 valve dohc duratec motor. my fuse keeps blowing immediqtly when i insert a new one in the fuse box for my cigar lighter. my side view mirrors will turn to the right but not bqck to the left. my low coolant light stays on but my coolant is fine and car runs at normal temps. the dash light bulb for my gas gauge is out.i am trying to find the short and i think it is in these areas.all other electrical works great but i found out that i need a vehicle speed sensor for. i have speedometer sticking and tranny shift problems. i dont think this could be causing the short in the cigar lighter fuse box. it is a fantastic car. does any body have any ideas what to do to trouble shoot and fix this problem?

You have access to wiring diagrams for all those systems and test equipment to test wiring? Do you know how to troubleshoot electrical problems using a DVOM?
