engine does not turn over, after much F**king around, this is the only clue I have. I turn the key and all I hear is a click, from the fuse box under the hood.
If I open the starter relay and push the contacts together the car starts. what does this mean? bad computer?
also after I started it I left it running for about 5 minutes the electrical started going nuts . the battery was dead.

That simply means the starter relay is not being energized for whatever reason. It could be anything in the circuit.

Vehicle have any aftermarket equipment such as an alarm or remote start system?

Im not so good at reading electrical diagrams, ill try though.
It does not have a remote starter or alarm.
what would make that clicking sound when I try to start the car?

That would tend to point toward a bad starter but you would have to check for power on the yellow with gray wire going to the starter when the key is held in start.

I'm not sure if "F**ing around" included pulling the battery and have it tested.
If not you definitely want to do that & get a terminal cleaner & clean the cables real good...

I didn't explain very well. sorry.
I have another car with a good battery. so I put that one in. so I crossed off the battery. the start bench tests okay. the wires from the battery and starter relay check out.
I did sand the battery terminals and cables . I KNOW it is not the starter. I actually bought a new one and put it in, I had to lie to the guy to return it.
thank you guys. im not sure you can really help me. studying that wiring schematic is probably my best bet.

A good place to start would be at the starter relay. There is 4 possible circuits where the trouble could lie and this will narrow the search down to one circuit. If you look at the diagram HT posted & find the starter relay you will see 4 number 30 85 86 87.
Get a voltmeter or test light and check for power on #s 30 & 86. There should be 12v on both of those when the keys is turned into the start position. Check for a good ground on #s 85 & 87. 87 should have a constant ground & 85 should ground when the key is turned to the start position. You could jump a fused 12v jumper to 87 and if the starter & circuit is good, the engine will crank over as long as the 12v is applied.
You are missing power or ground on one of those legs when the key is turned to the start position. If all 4 legs are good then it would have to be a bad relay....
If had to guess I would say you a missing 12v on #86 when the keys is turned to the start position...
Edit....if you look at the relay, the terminals numbers on the relay should match up the those ones on the diagram
