electrical mystery Sign In

1994 buick regal 3.1 liter 125,000 miles. i tried to start my car up and it would not make a sound. i turned the headlights on and tried to start the car and it started. it started up many more times the regular way that day. i tried about a week later and the car would not start up again. wouldn't make a sound . i turned the head lights on again but the car would not start at all.it wouldn't do anything at all. i thought that the battery was low. i charged the battery and thought that it would start. turned the key in the ignition and nothing happened. I turned the headlight switch on and the head lights would not come on. the battery was fully charged straight from the charger. i changed the positive cable thinking that there was a break in the wiring. this didn't change things. i did notice that there is a clicking sound coming through the fuse marked fuel pump. it clicks twice about every seven seconds.

Re: electrical mystery Sign In

What do mean the battery is hot; is it physically hot to the touch?

when i connected the battery that the engine sounded light it was loading up.

Maybe take a bit of time and edit your post; I don’t mean to be critical but I don’t understand a lot of what you’re saying.
Sorry

Dan.
