daytime running lights don't work 1988 Monte Carlo SS Login - Sign Up

Hi everyone~ Chevy 88 Monte Carlo SS 305 V-8 90,000 miles

Just bought this 1988 Monte Carlo SS from a private owner. The brake lights work, and the headlights. When I go to put on just the running lights I get nothing. He told me when I called him that he just put in a cd player, and thats when they stopped working. I just had the car for a day. Do you think he grounded something out when he installed the cd player? please help would like to be able to drive at night!!!!

Go to the fuse block and look for a 20amp fuse marked TAIL/LP. It is probably blown. If not you will have to follow a wiring diagram from the switch and test for power.
