06 nissan sentra will only run when you turn the cam sensor 180 degrees from mounting position.

Do you have spark?

That's not what I asked you. Do you have consistent spark at the plugs?

You got any answers?

Honestly, we don't use a crystal ball. We need specific test results to isolate what might be going on.

Whether it has spark or not will tell me if the PCM is seeing a reference signal or not.

Re: 06 sentra wont start Sign In

This is really sounding like a crank sensor problem. I know you said you changed it but that doesn't guarantee anything. It really needs some more in depth testing with a scan tool and possibly a lab scope.

Re: 06 sentra wont start Sign In

im a mechanic myself, and received the car from a fellow mechanic, who had put a new cam and crank sensor on the car. according to my local napa dealer, the cam and crank sensor are the same, as far as part numbers. so after not finding any codes on my scan tool and no obvious wire problems, i was hopeing one of those sensors was a defect and changed them both. still not starting, i changed the pcm. and now im back at sqare one.

Re: 06 sentra wont start Sign In

Time to do some actual testing to find out is that Crank signal is making it back to the PCM.
