coil pack problems

i have a vauxhall/opel vectra 1.8 petrol club 2001 it has only 84000 miles i bought this car last week lady told me she took it to a garage and was told fault was the coil pack so the engine light is staying on i bought new coil pack still the same took it today the guy told me fault check says coil pack bought another new coil pack engine light still on car is stuttering has hardly any power any ideas please

I'm not familiar with the UK stuff...
But the basic problem sounds like you may have been getting a P035x primary ignition circuit code, which sometimes could be a bad coil but not always.
As with any code it real should be diagnosed out. Since you've changed the coil pack and are getting the same code the rest of circuit is going to need to be checked. On these ones I've seen a simple bad ground cause this code all the way to bad drivers in the PCM...........
