climate control module

I have a 2000 Buick Regal and have had the climate control module changed twice because the heat comes on and stays on. There are no LCD readouts for the temperature and none of the buttons work (on/off, fan, temp, defrost,etc). I did notice a sound like air leaking occuring on occasion. Some one said a vaccuum leak could be at fault. Once the climate control module was changed, the problem went away for about 2 weeks. Everything was thought to be fixed, but it is back. Any clue?
