Check your cable connections at the battery, make sure they are clean, shiny, and tight. Has the battery been charged and tested? New doesnt necessarily mean good, although sounds like a connection problem or ground problem, still need to verify battery is good before further testing.

What was this doing before you changed the battery? Does this have factory terminals or generic crap on it? As goiserclause has said the connections must be verified clean and tight along with a load test on the battery. New duds are made every day so new doesn't mean good, it just means different. Even NASA screws the pooch on occasion and everything they do is in the millions.

Thanks my new battery was not good. A new battery and new terminals did the trick. Thanks so much. I changed my radiator and assumed I had messed something else.
