car door locks, horn, alarm not working

I have a 2008 Pontiac GP v6 - the door locks started acting up, first front passenger then driver side I never know if it is going to lock or unlock then I noticed if I hit the button four or five times in a row the action got weaker with each time and no locks do anything after just a few tries.
Now the horn has stopped working and the lights flash but the alarm no longer sounds if you open a locked door - a mechanic wants to replace the switch but I wonder if that’s it with the horn and alarm thing

You might be having some issues with the Body Control Module. You will need a very high end scan tool to diagnose that.
