brake warning lamp Login - Sign Up

I have a 1993 Ford Taurus with a 3.0L with 135,000 miles. The car is not drive over 3000 miles a year. Today as I accelerate the brake warning lamp comes on. I have inspected my battery cables and replaced the connectors. What could it be?

That light has 3 different purposes and reasons to come on. If your brakes feel normal, then first check that your parking brake is released all the way and then check the brake fluid level which is probably your problem. If the fluid is low, add some and have the brakes checked to determine where it went.
