blown intake gasket no power at all could be blown ecm. Sign In

2002 buick rendezvous 3.4 litre 220000km been really good vehicle till know.

intake gasket went witch caused antifreeze to pump up throttle body and out airbreather hose in to air box causeing ecm to go. I think, I have no power to gauges key or anything battery good took ecm a part smells burnt but can't see anything burnt. the ecm is rubber sealed and there was no water in side. Could it be a blown ecm.

The LAST thing you wanted to take apart was the ECM . It does not supply voltage to any major circuits . Buy a 12v test light and start testing ALL fuses and fusable links . Once you have restored power to car ,THEN you can have car scanned for ECM codes.
