blinker dash lights on

Ok when I turn on my lights in my 86 chevy pickup I both the green arrows on the dash are lit up. The blinkers do work. The front yellow lights on the side are lit up very dim. The front yellow lights on the grill do nothing until the blinkers are turned on. Any ideas?

Check that the bulbs are the right ones and the sockets are in good shape,
