Do the reverse lamps work?

1. Drive the vehicle forward at least 15 mph
2. Stop the vehicle
3. Turn off the ignition
4. Turn on the ignition, then shift into reverse within 5 seconds.
5 Watch the warning light panel. Should flash the one red and two yellow lights at the same time for 1.5 seconds and then turn off.
6. Keep watching the warning lights. They should stay off.

Does the system operate as it does in those steps?

You'll need a volt meter to check for power and ground to the rear object module.

The module is located in the truck mounted to the inside of the right rear quarter panel.

You'll need to make your checks with the volt meter connected to a known good ground while back probing the connector with the ignition turned on.

The module's connector needs to be plugged in and the ignition has to be on to make accurate measurements. Unbolt the module and flip it around to get better access to the back of the connector.

Pink wire = 12 volts
Light green wire= 12 volts with gear selector in reverse
Black wire= less than 0.30 volts
