The parking lights (not headlights) on my '96 Toyota T-100 pickup (4 cyl.,132 k) come on by themselves when vehicle is parked. This happens randomly, day or night, (light switch is always in off position) and occurs once every few weeks, If undiscovered- battery runs down completely. It just did it again yesterday-Truck is parked in my driveway & when I came home from work the park lights were on - jiggled & tapped switch to no effect-lights stayed on. I disconnected positive side of battery & reconnected and the lights were then off! Could this be a relay or similiar that resets when battery is reconnected?
