we bought a car to rebuild and resell. it had a lot of aftermarket parts, lights, stereo, cd, tv, ps2, gauges, etc. one day while driving it, all the aftermarket parts stopped working. we have tested everything and all the constant wires work, however, the ignition switch does not. we have tested it all the way up to the harness and nthin else. the fuses are all okay. we do not want to tear the dash apart if there is something else we can try or test first. any ideas????

For “all aftermarket” devices to quite at the same time it has to be something common to all; trace the ignition feed and grounds from the units, not functioning to their source. Most stereo systems will have a decal on their case with a wiring diagram; that should show you what wire does what? Dan. Canadian "EH"
