Ok whats really making me mad is I have been in Ohio from Florida since June. Only drove my car twice since I have been here. If its not one thing its the next with thiscar!
1998 Ford Contour
The car kept dying so we tested it and believe the altenator was going out. Rebuilt it.
Got it home drove it down the road. It died on me AGAIN!!
This time the speedomater went out, ABS light came on and the brake light came up and I am so annoyed right now.
My dad is working on my car so I have a vehicle to get me to school and to my cancer appt.
He thinks the 2 wires from the altenator are not giving any power. PLEASE HELP!!!!

He rebuilt it? I seriously doubt he has that capability. Throwing in a set of brushes certainly is not rebuilding as the result of this repair has shown you.

If he really knows what he is doing, then he will understand how to use this diagram to resolve the issue.

Take it back out and bring it down to an autoparts store to have them test it. If it's bad they will tell you and sell you another.
