Hey guys! So I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla S. It has a 1.8L engine and around 80,000 miles.
So just recently for christmas I got a new head unit stereo and speakers. I wanted to wire them in myself because I thought it'd be something fun to learn to do. I got the head unit in fine and everything worked great but by the time I had the speakers in I wasn't so lucky. The last speaker I put in was the front passenger side. I noticed I wasn't getting any sound out of the speaker so I tried re-wiring it and checking for shorts but I couldn't find anything. Finally, I hit the power locks on the door and that blew the fuse. I replaced the fuse, and the second I hit the auto door locks, it blew the fuse again.
So my question is, why is the fuse blowing? Is the only answer a potential short in the wiring? I checked as close as I could and the wires seem very secure. could I have a wrong wire hooked up to the wrong wire? I'd really like to get my auto door locks working again, even if it just means I'll get no sound from that speaker.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks so much!

Obviously it is wired wrong. I have no idea what you did. You may consider this an adventure but a simple mistake can end up costing you thousands in damaged computers so I wouldn't be experimenting here.
