My son installed a new CD player in his 2002 Taurus SE and now the power door locks and windows (among other things) do not work. I looked in the owners manual but could not tell which fuse I should be checking. Any suggestions?

First thing is to reckeck why he blew fuse in first place . Pos (red) should go to an acc circuit , ground to body. You should have gotten a installation pamplet with player. Now turn key to "ON" position , headlights on and take a testlight ,avail at parts houses and clip ground to metal dash support and touch each fuse on metal tabs on top. A blown fuse will only lite on one side.
