"I inspected the tab on the motor support and it isn't bent. I ordered a new transmission crank arm, because I figure that's the only thing it could be at this point. But I'm no professional. What do you guys think?" Okay, so I replaced the transmission crank arm, but it still has the same issue. Although, before I put it on, I checked to make sure it worked properly, and it breaks away to go into the park position, unlike the old one that wouldn't budge, so there's a start. but when I install it, the wiper still pause upwards. Like I said the tab isn't BENT, but it does look worn down. Should I really order this 150+ dollar support bracket?! I dont want to drop the money on such an expensive part, so I want to know that this is really my last resort, really could use some help!
