Turnsignal problems Sign In

I have an 05 chevy cobalt and the turn signal was out on the passenger front. Found that the socket was bad so i bought a new harness and bulb but when I got everything back together it still isnt lighting up and continues to blink fast as if the bulb were out. The rear is working fine and no problems with the drivers side. I have been told it is possibly a ground wire.... Ideas?Unimpressed

You have a 12 volt test lamp or a volt/ohm meter?

I have a tester but i couldnt say what voltage it is. It is a smaller one that you can pick up at any auto parts store.

You need to find out what is missing in the socket. Are you missing power or do you have a ground problem.

If the front is blinking fast, then your problem is likely in the rear.
