Turn up the volume of my turn signal Sign In

Hello. This is about my 1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 3.3L engine, 180,000 miles. I'm one of those idiots that drives around with their turn signal on because the clicking and warning sounds made by the turn signal have gotten so low that I can't hear them. Or maybe I'm just going deaf. Anyway... Is there a way that I can make them a lot louder? Thanks. You'll be helping out one old guy.

LOL.......
To my knowledge that vehicle isn't even equipped with any kind of warning signal for that. The only thing that you are hearing is the clicking of the flasher contacts every time they energize. Nothing designed to warn you. That's what the flashing light on the dash is for.

Thanks for your reply. But actually, yes there is indeed a warning for a turn signal left on. A kind of ding, ding, ding chime, very similar to the sound when the lights are left on and removing the keys. There was a time when this sound easily exceeded the volume of the radio. No longer.

Yes, my truck has one of those too that starts to chime after a specific time. Those sounds are produced by a module. Your only option would be to replace the module. It may help if yours is truly deteriorated.
