Hi guys, I'm trying to get the driver's side backup light to illuminate on my newly purchased '97 BMW 840Ci. The car tells me "LICENSE PLATE LIGHT FAIL" so I replaced both license plate lights - which were already lighting up - along with the trunk compartment lights and both backup light bulbs. If I pop out the bulb housing and put it in the passenger side backup light, it still illuminates, so something is either messed up with the circuit overall or with something I can't find. Any tips for troubleshooting a little deeper? Thanks!
