About a month ago, smoke started billowing out of the steering wheel as I was driving down the road. All of my electrical systems went out one by one until the car went completely dead and now NOTHING. No lights. No sounds. No power. Just nothing at all. You don't want the air bag going off in your face when your under there moving wires around. Make sure you disconnect the battery and disarm the system. Might be a good idea to remove the air bag before doing any column work.
