SERIES CIRCUIT Sign In

In a SERIES CIRCUIT consisting of 4 resistors of 9? each and a 14 volt source, what is the approximate amount of heat( or power ) produced?

4 Resistors X 9 Ohms = 36 Ohms
14 Volts / 36 Ohms = .39 Amps
.39 Amps X 14 Volts = 5.46 Watts or Power

But why are you asking?
I feel like I’m back in trade School. LOL

It is for a open book/resource test for work. i sat and did numbers last night but nothing would come close. I think i was just doing the formula in reverse. lol stupid me. but thanks for the help and showing me how to do it.
