My problem is that I had a side door actuator for the lock only quit. Aftor too long of a time I replaced it and now the remote (key) does not open the doors or lock the doors. Do I have to get the keys ( remotes ) reprogrammed at the dealership or is there something else needed to be done? thanks for your reply in advance. However it must have been a fluke that this happened. I am sure that the key sensor is not being picked up by the vans computer. I stopped at the dealership today and they checked the range of the keys and they were perfect. The service manager suggested that the little box that picks up the keys frequency might not be working. I hope it's not an expensive part since the actuator was $133 dollars. The other dodge dealership was $160. I was reading on another forum and you can buy the little motor for the actuator for $3.00 plus shipping. I'm going to order the pair for $6.00 and fix the old one as a spare since once one goes it's probably time for more of them to go on an 06. Thanks for the suggestions and help.
