Radio turns on but no sound (short in the wire) Sign In

My car is a 1993 Chrysler concord. When I got it the fuse to the lighter, amps, and horn would blow very often and if I honked the horn it blew the fuse so I think there is a short. I had no problem changing the fuse whenever it blew but now when I put a new fuse in it the amps don't even work! The radio turns on I can seek and change stations but no volume comes out at all.

Do you have factory radio and speakers ? Regardless ,pull radio out and check for tampered / damaged wiring . check speakers the same way make sure their not blown.

How do I remove the radio and speakers without damaging anything? I'm new to fixing cars and the last time I had to fix my back window by taking off the door panel I messed It up a little.
